These terms apply to every order placed on thani.lk, an online store selling clothing, toys and electronics in Sri Lanka. By placing an order you agree to them. They do not limit your rights under the Consumer Affairs Authority Act or other Sri Lankan law.
Orders and prices
All prices are in Sri Lankan rupees and include any taxes that apply. Delivery fees are shown at checkout before you pay.
Your order is accepted when we send the order confirmation email. If an item is out of stock or a price was shown in error, we will contact you and you can cancel for a full refund.
Payment
You can pay by card or mobile wallet through PayHere, by bank transfer or by cash on delivery. Card payments are processed by PayHere; thani.lk never sees or stores your card details.
Bank transfer orders are confirmed when we have checked your payment slip. Unpaid orders are cancelled automatically after the time shown at checkout.
Delivery
We deliver to all 25 districts by courier. Delivery dates are estimates. See the Delivery information page for fees and times.
Returns and refunds
You can return or exchange items as described on the Returns and exchanges page. Refunds go back to the original payment method, or to your bank account for cash on delivery orders, after we receive and check the item.
Warranty
Electronics carry the warranty shown on the product page. Warranty claims need the order number. Damage from misuse, accidents or unauthorised repair is not covered.
Your account
Keep your password private. You are responsible for orders placed from your account. You can delete your account at any time from Your account; we keep order records for as long as the law requires.
Reviews
Only customers who bought a product can review it. We may remove reviews that are abusive, off-topic or contain personal information.
Liability
We are not liable for delays or losses caused by events outside our control, such as courier disruption, severe weather or public holidays. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
